Experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse to support the practice of a very busy invasive cardiologist. Performs and documents physical assessment of adult patients, takes vital signs and conducts EKG and other diagnostic testing, exercises independent clinical judgment within scope of practice in notifying patients of test results and responding to patient inquiries. Manages physician schedule to ensure efficiency and works collaboratively with front desk and scheduling personnel. Ensures complete documentation is available for the physician prior to patient visit.
Requirements:
At least five years of physician office experience required, cardiology or internal medicine experience highly desirable. Excellent clinical and patient service skills required. Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
