Dr. Gordon Mitchell, Founder and President of Central Texas Heart Center, was named to the list of Texas Super Doctors for 2011, the second consecutive year he's made this distinguished list.  The list is compiled by the research firm Key Professional Media and is printed annually in Texas Monthly magazine.  This honor is especially significant because it is based, in part, on a survey of other physicians in Texas of their willingness to seek his care as a patient.  Physicians nominated by their fellow physicians are then subjected to a 10 point review of other professional qualifications.  Dr. Mitchell is one of only two cardiologists in the Brazos Valley to have been selected to the list.  For more information on this award and a description of the selection criteria, please click here.
