We participate with many insurance plans (see below) and will bill non-participating plans for you as a courtesy.  However, health plans vary in what they cover.  Therefore, we ask you to be aware of what your health plan covers and your responsibilities for deductibles and co-payments. As a reminder, for us to accept your insurance we are required by contract to collect from you any co-payments or deductibles that your insurance plan requires you to pay. For your convenience, you may pay by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. We appreciate your payment at the time of your office visit. If you have financial difficulty with a medical bill, please call Diann, our Patient Financial Counselor, at (979) 774-4008, ext. 281 about developing a payment plan.

We know that many of you with Scott & White insurance have heard that their relationship with the St. Joseph Regional Health Center will end in the spring of 2012 when their current contract expires.  The doctors of Central Texas Heart Center continue to participate fully as "in-network" providers of the Scott & White Health Plan.  However, the College Station Medical Center is also not "in-network" with Scott & White, making it possible that Scott & White members may be without an "in-network" hospital in the Brazos Valley for an extended period of time until the new Scott & White hospital opens a year or so from now.  If you are Scott & White member, we urge you to evaluate your insurance options carefully and soon, especially if you are in an open enrollment period.  We are honored to serve your cardiology needs and hope to continue to do so in the changing regional healthcare landscape.
